|I was born in Portland,
Oregon, and I grew up in Tigard, Oregon. I came to know the love and grace of
Christ at an early age, and I knew from early on that God was calling me into
some sort of full-time ministry. I went to Bible College at Pacific Christian
College in Fullerton, California, where I met my wife Tiffany. After getting
married and graduating from Bible College, we moved to Johnson City, Tennessee
to go to seminary at Emmanuel School of Religion where I received my M. Div.
degree. While in seminary I preached part-time at a small country church, and
then after graduation I began full-time ministry which I have been doing since
1995. I graduated from The Master's Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry degree
in May 2009. I have three wonderful daughters: Katie, Emily, and Allison. My two
passions are preaching God's wonderful Word and evangelism. I love the Lord with
my whole heart, and I look forward to serving Him at Faith Community Church for
many years to come. |
|I was born in West Point, NY, but spent my childhood years growing up in the Bay Area. After graduating from college, I married my best friend Rachel. The Lord has blessed us richly with two children; Joshua and Grace. My family and I have attended FCC since the day it was founded. But it was not until 2005, after teaching in public schools for 13 years, that I felt God call me to make a change and take my love for Him and passion for teaching to be part of the staff at Faith Community as the youth pastor. What a blessing it has been to minister at FCC for the purpose of spreading the Gospel and the edifying of the saints.|
I was born and raised in Los Angeles California in Los Angeles. While there I attended East LA Junior-College and California State University Long Beach. I later graduated from California State University Sacramento with a BA degree in Criminal Justice.
In 1973 while attending California State University Long Beach, I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and was saved by the grace of God while attending a meeting of Campus Crusade for Christ. In 1977, I joined the United States Air Force and served four years on active duty and four years in the United States Air Force Reserves. In 1981, I married my wonderful wife Carolyn, and we are blessed with three wonderful adult children Chanda, Crystal, and Joshua and two granddaughters Maliyah and Dani.
After leaving the Air force in 1981, I was hired as a police officer for the city of Concord, California, where I worked for 3 1/2 years. I later transferred to the Fairfield Police Department where I eventually retired as a police lieutenant after serving almost 30 years in Law Enforcement.
In 2006 God called me into the ministry as an Elder/Pastor at Faith Community Church of Vacaville, where I have been serving God since then.
|I was born in Ames, Iowa and moved to Santa Monica, CA when I was twelve. I attended Santa Monica High School where I met, and subsequently married five years later, my wife, Joy. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from UCLA where I attended on a football scholarship. After teaching for three years at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY I spent the next thirty years in the Palo Alto Unified School District where I served as football coach, and later, Assistant Principal. It was during these years, July 31, 1971 to be exact, that a colleague took us to a Billy Graham Crusade in the Oakland Coliseum where both Joy and I gave our hearts to Jesus. Joy and I have three great children, Brad, David and Elizabeth and seven wonderful grandkids. I served as Principal of The King's Academy, a Christian school in Sunnyvale, CA, the final seven years of my career. In January of 2006 we moved to Dixon and we have been attending Faith Community since then where I serve as Adult Sunday School teacher and head up our senior ministry known as the Senior Saints.|
|I was born in Southern California, but have lived a majority of my life in the Fairfield and Vacaville area. I was raised attending the United Methodist Church in Fairfield in my elementary school years, but did not fully appreciate the saving grace of my Lord Jesus Christ until I married my wife Gina in 1989. That is when God revealed to both of us how sinful we were and how much we needed a savior. From that point forward we have been guided on a journey that helps us to appreciate each and every day in our Lord’s service. We have two children, our son Samuel and daughter Sidney. We have been attending Faith Community Church since 2010 and are blessed to be in a family of believers that are God centered. We are so thankful to have opportunities to promote international outreach programs that primarily focus on children. I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to serve with others whose hearts’ desire is to be thankful and obedient to our God. |
