Welcome to the new church website and app for our church. Following these steps should get you set up on the new system. If you have problems, either reach out to someone who has already successfully set up their account or reach out to Jared Matlock (jared@vacavillefaith.org) for assistance.
1. Check your email for an invitation to join Amplify. It came from Faith Community Church (Vacaville, CA) via Ministry Brands Amplify (no_reply@myamplify.io). If you don't see it, check your spam folders.
2. Click the invitation link to create an account with a good password.
If you did not get an invite or haven't received any church email yet, fill out the form at vacavillefaith.org/update.
3. When you sign in, you will be able to see icons on the page at account.myamplify.io/dashboard. Clicking on "My Church Profile" allows you to update your information. For example, birthdays defaulted to the year 1900, so many of you will see that you are 125 years old until you update your birthdate. Please do not delete your information from here, and keep this updated with any changes. The church office needs this information to be able to contact you. To limit visibility of your information to others, that will be in step 6 below.
4. Now that you have an account, open your phone's app store (Apple or Android) and search for "My Church Home". You will find this app created by Ministry Brands Amplify. Download and open this app. Click on the images below for links to the app stores.
5. Searching by Zip Code 95687 is the easiest way to find our church. Select this church and accept the ability for us to send you notifications.
6. Welcome to the app! From here you can see everything related to our church on your phone. Even before you sign in, you can use the menu to get to the calendar of events, submit prayer requests, watch sermons, and more! By clicking on "Welcome Guest" at the top of the menu, use your new email and password to sign into your account. Using the small menu on your profile page, you can edit what is visible to others in the church directory.
Once you are signed in, you will also be able to access the church directory if you are in the directory. If you are not in the directory and would like to be, email office@vacavillefaith.org.
7. Now you can explore the menu to find links to the Women's Ministry study videos, giving page, calendar, and event registrations. Check back regularly for updates and this will also be used to send out updates from the church if needed.
