I grew up here in Vacaville with my parents and four siblings, and I have been attending church as long as I can remember. Growing up, our family was always involved in a church ministry, particularly children’s ministry and worship. My mom taught all of us kids how to play piano and instilled in me a desire to serve at church.
Though I grew up in the church, I believe I truly came to know the Lord as my Savior in my teen years. I was looking for a new church at that time and started attending FCC in 2006, where I have been involved in the worship ministry ever since. I also met my husband, David, here and we got married in 2014. Our sweet daughter, Kaia, was born in 2022 and has been the biggest blessing to us.
In addition to worship here at FCC, I participated in high school choir/jazz band in my teens, followed by college choir, a barbershop quartet and a Sacramento-based singing group. I have also done accompaniment for choirs and solo singers, and previously taught piano for about fourteen years. I hope to continue to use my musical abilities to serve the Lord and lead His people in worship here at FCC.
