I was born in Long Beach, California and raised in Hacienda Heights. Carrie and I met in high school and were married in 1976. I received a degree in Psychology from Westmont College in 1977 and continued my education by obtaining teaching and administrative credentials in the years that followed. We moved from Southern California to Vacaville in 1979. From 1979 to 2015, I was employed as a teacher and/or administrator in the Fairfield-Suisun School District, Davis Joint Unified School District, and the Acalanes Union High School District. Carrie and I have been blessed with three children and four grandchildren.

I was saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ in 1975. We began attending Faith Community Church in 2016. Prior to FCC, we attended First Baptist Vacaville where I served as a Deacon and then Valley Evangelical Free Church in Vacaville. Carrie has been involved in Bible Study and leadership with Bible Study Fellowship International for over 45 years. Since my "retirement" in 2015, I have been able to serve as a "mini-missionary" in several African countries with The Rafiki Foundation.

It is a blessing to be a member of the FCC congregation. I am grateful and humbled to be able to have an opportunity to serve here at Faith Community Church.
